Sometimes living the Anywhere Lifestyle means that you can live somewhere exotic like a tropical island or beachfront condo. Sometimes it means you can live your life as a digital nomad, constantly moving from place to place and taking your career with you. Sometimes it means you can live in a cabin right next to your favorite lake.
For me, it means I can live in a smaller community, work from home, spend lots of time with my family, have access to awesome outdoor recreation, and run into friends at the grocery store. It doesn’t have to seem exciting. Simply being able to exist in a place where you want is a great thing in itself.

This is one of the things I am trying to get across to people. It seems popular to go gallivanting about the globe working from hammocks on the beach, but there are so many variations. Just having the freedom to not have to go be at a specific GPS coordinate every day is a great improvement for most people. I'm sure there are those who enjoy the office environment, but being able to choose my own is priceless to me. Even if that just means sitting at the kitchen table.

“Can you get your work done” — this is an important point. I think in order to be successful working from home (or wherever) you have to be truly passionate about what you do. If you don't have that natural motivation, it will never work.
My favorite days are when I am working from my porch on a beautiful day. Nothing better! I live in a small town in Western NY and it is great! I am a big city boy that has grown to love small town living. The thing that I love the most about my drive for independence is the simplification of my life! Less is more!
