I’ve been using LogMeIn for years and it’s always been a dependable, useful app. The company I used to work for had it installed on all of our remote web servers. I still use it to log into my Windows machine at home for testing. I’ve also experienced moments/relief as expressed in their new commercial.
How I Conquered My Gmail Inbox With ActiveInbox
Just wanted to give a quick testimonial for a Chrome/Firefox plugin that turns your Gmail inbox into an absolute “getting things done” (GTD) factory. It’s called ActiveInbox and I am proud to say it’s allowed me to finally create a good system of managing tasks, follow-up items, and project-related items within my Gmail inbox.
I use Gmail interfaces for both my personal and business accounts, and I find that (especially with my business account) many of the items that get emailed to me are tasks: Update this, change that, etc. With ActiveInbox, I can assign those emails as task to specific projects, give them a due date, and even leave associated internal notes.
A few weeks ago I had literally thousands of emails in my inboxes, and after a day with ActiveInbox I was at inbox zero with both of them. I consider that a major victory.
Have you used this plugin? If so, share your story and experience in the comments below.
For the rest of you, check out ActiveInbox today.

These are a few of my favorite iPhone apps
Today I share a few of my favorite iPhone apps that I use as part of my freelancing business. I use the iPod touch and can use most of the iPhone apps that are released since I have a set of earbuds with built-in microphone. Someday Apple and Verizon will be friends and I’ll have the actual iPhone, but I can’t bring myself to switch to AT&T.
And yes, it is Monday and I do feel as tired as I look in today’s video. I got wayyyyyy too much fresh air this past weekend (which is AWESOME).
If you are an iPhone/iPod Touch user, what apps are your favorites?
